Oh cursed love
Cursed plague, insufferable bane Unbearable euphoria, incredible pain There are many now who love you As you share with them what we use to Giggle; flirt, with beautiful batted eyes And all those charms I now despise I once held out a loving change With the promise of some romance But you got all you needed from me Then walked away before I could see And now without, I cry within Alone and empty once again And if you really deal with the pain Of hurting my and to see me wane Then you would surely have to be As alone and miserable as me But it’s just my eyes that wound you Reflecting back the black within you And though you had your reasons why You gave up and didn’t seem to try Was it so easy and I such a fool? No instrument of love, just a temporary tool And yes, I do cry at night And yes, I do die at night But you don’t care to understand Why would you, you’ll have another man And together maybe you will find A love of some deeper kind But you make it plain for me to see That in all your love, there’s no love for me. ![]()
