Precious Rain

Precious Rain

The morning brings daylight and the rain.
As it blows in sheets to the soil's relief.
The grass and plants are given a chance.
To grow tall and proud the rain allowed.


The earth soaks it In a drought has been.
Precious life is revived the rain has arrived.
Nature can now drink water from the rain.
The summers drought causing thirst about.


All naturally growing things water it brings.
The rain pours down absorbed by ground.
The soil is cracked and is very dry in fact.
The summers drought has gone no doubt.


A blessing from sky gives nature a new life.
Plants and grass will grow tall and green.
Mother Nature will flourish rain nourishes.
All living things will replenish in the Spring.
