The other night I had a dream
At first it was so wonderful, bright, and vivid I felt warmth, happiness, love I saw you holding me in your arms But then all of that faded, everything became dark I felt nothing but sorrow and anguish I saw myself lying in a hospital bed I noticed the bruises and scrapes I was so scared, and felt so alone Almost too late Afraid I'd never see you again you cut through the crowd You looked like an angel, my savior, my prince I bawled my eyes out right then and there I appologized for ever hurting you or making you sad I only wished to live, to grow old with you I looked at you, tears in your eyes You said none of that mattered Only that I loved you and made you happy And I woke up, at the moment of my death It was only a dream
