There are pieces of my heart That love has placed inside From the time I was a tiny babe Till I became a bride - Even after there were added More pieces here and there - Of people that I've come to know Who made me truly care. Some have faded from my view But in my heart still remain For they were instrumental In making me what I am. It seems each day I meet someone Who at least makes a mark; Some take their place as pieces Of my ever loving heart. With family and friends around It's sure not hard to find So many pieces of my heart That I cannot leave behind.
