Interrupted
Someone who tries to fix their life but is stopped along the way

plunging fast
I can't hold on
to things I've passed
they all have gone
I take the dive
into myself
I feel alive
but nothing else

Chorus:
Why does my life have to be so interrupted?
It isn't like I'll always be this corrupted
and just when my troubles have all erupted
         I fall down
         and straighten out again

late at night
I can't sleep
having trouble
counting sheep
I'm feeling hungry
but I can't eat
can't even stand
on my two feet

Chorus

Bridge:
I looked up to the horizon
to see the light of day
but I was moving way too fast
and I tripped along the way

Chorus

down and dirty
deep in mud
can hardly breathe
or feel my blood
I'm paralyzed
by my crown of thorns
desensitized
to the shame and scorn
