It's that time of season
Can you feel the itch?
I don't need a reason
Senses turn on like a switch

Adrenaline is pumping
Electricity's in the air
My heart's wildly thumping
Once game time comes, I'm there

Yeah, it's that time of season
'Cause Hockey's back in town
And we no longer have a reason
For a two month long let-down

Feelings of raw passion
For the puck we yearn
Jerseys are the fashion
And who says ice can't burn?

The season we cheer for
For that season we pray
To scream out the word "SCORE!"
Onward the boys play

'Cause it's that time of season
Excitement's everywhere
And Hockey is my reason
All year long, my only care!
