You touch my face, softly stroking
A gentle kiss, memory evoking

The day we met, lovers to be
The essence of my fantasy

Your hand so gentle, sliding lower
Down my arm, caressing, slower

Emotions building, make me restless
Kissing you, it leaves me breathless

Wanting more, but holding back
Almost ready, one thing I lack

Three little words, never spoken
Not important, just a token

Of your love, I am sure
Until I ask and you demur

Leaving questions in my mind
Answers that I need to find

I press on and ask once more
You drop your hand, walk out the door
