“Asia, I can’t go on with this,” Jay ended the silence that surrounded them. Asia’s heart sunk as her eyes went wide with horror. It was happening again, just when she was starting to feel so strongly about Jay, just when she was beginning to open her heart, healing wounds and all, to him.
“Why?” was all Asia could choke out, her heart going down in a flaming spiral.
“I just…I don’t feel right being with you after I was with Nola,” Jay explained. “It’s just sort of hard for me,” he sighed. Asia closed her eyes tightly. She couldn’t handle this, not again.
“Just because we’re sisters doesn’t mean we’re the same person,” Asia pointed out, her voice becoming a whisper.
“I know that. You two are completely different, but it’s tough. It makes me feel like I’m using you to get back at Nola,” Jay tried to clarify once more.
“Well you’re not, are you?” Asia asked, horrified. Why hadn’t she thought of that before?
“No! I would never do that to anyone,” Jay looked at Asia’s face, Asia turning away. “I’m sorry Asia,” Jay apologized.
All the hurt finally un-dug itself as Asia’s heart finally did a tailspin into a crash.
“No you’re not!” Asia hollered out, tears streaming down her face. “None of you are! You’ll always say you’re sorry, but you’ll never mean it! Why don’t you all just get a shotgun and take turns aiming at my pathetic little heart?!?” Asia cried out, storming off back towards the Bar.
“Asia?” Jay called out. Asia walked over towards the guys.
“Gimmie your keys,” Asia demanded from Stitchface.
         “Asia, are you alr-“
“Gimmie your keys,” she interrupted. Stitchface looked Asia up and down skeptically.
“Asia, I don’t think you’re in any shape to be riding,” Stitchface answered. Suddenly, Asia reached her hand in his pocket, pulled his keys out, put his helmet on that was sitting on the table next to them and hopped on his bike, revving up the engine and riding away.
