The War...
The storyline of the war in Gondoleu

Gondoleu was nothing more than a peaceful little kingdom, completely unheard of to most of the world. The people there were serene, making a living by growing wheat, corn and barley, then trading the nearby kingdoms for what they needed. It was a simple life, but it was a good one.
The people of Gondoleu were set apart only by two things. The very old and exquisite castle, complete with beautiful spiraling towers, and how they had a sorceress instead of a queen.
King Ellinder was just 14 when he took the position of King. He never married and the soceress Mirilia guided him through the duty. She took on the job of the queen, although she was never actually dubbed one.
It was when King Ellinder was 47 that the war upon his kingdom was declared. The king was in shock with worry, and honest confusion. For the message came from the nearest kingdom and their most trusted. The kingdom of Uloradon.
The enemy army would be on upon Gondoleu within a week. The King gathered all the men in the kingdom, including himself, and set out within three days. They had to get as far away from the village as possible to keep the others safe.
When the armies met, they lined up in an open field. The army of Uloradon obviously outnumbered that of Gondoleu and was better trained. Ellinder yelled a plea out across the field to someone he once thought of as a friend, Pendatho the leader of the army. It was his last attempt to call off the war, but it did nothing to help. Pendatho raised his hand and the blood shed began.
War waged for two long weeks. There were retreats on both sides, and ruthless battles almost every day. It seemed as they would fight until there were none left standing.
With nothing but hope to somehow live another day the army of Gondoleu kept fighting, doing their best to stand strong. But as the last days of the second week wore by it was obvious that they were becoming weak. They were pushed farther and farther back and it seemed as if there was nothing that they could do.
The final battle was catastrophic. It seemed as if the army of Uloradon had been given new hope. The men of Gondoleu fell left and right and there was no doubt that it would be the end that day. They were not wrong.
A sword went through the leader of the army, and off the horse he fell. The cries of men could be heard across the valleys, some shrieking with despair and others howling with victory. The war was over and Gondoleu had won.

Now you know the facts, read the lives and how they made a difference in the war. The tales are not about the outcome but how they worked to get there.
