Manhattan in SEPTEMBER Sunlight smiling from deep inside Each avenue and street, Profound sorrow versus grace To highlight the glimmering hope, Erasing traces of destruction, Manhattan, my city, proud, tall, rebuilt, Beyond vengeance and cruelty, Every second getting loftier, while Remembering its loved ones in God’s arms.
