Solitude Quizmo LaGrande Am I attractive in my solitude; Do I reflect a handsome stance? Can tomorrow be forever, Is there a momentary chance Of predicting fate and future, So the telling of the wind; Will the light of angels cast Upon us luck and knowing grins? Alone, my friend, I’m feeling; Alone in love with you! Does loneliness become me? Find you beauty in subdue? A quiet, simple sentiment-- Lyrical, sublime; I ask only, let me love; In return, your love be mine. Amber waves of torrid, torment Adrift upon my own; Anon, a kiss of sentiment, Bless this sailor’s lonely poem. ~*~
