LIVING

There's a lot to living -
It's not always the best,
But take a look around you;
Give your heart a rest!

For all the pain and sorrow
That you can find on earth
There are a million reasons
To see what life is really worth!

For every morning that you wake
To a bright and lovely day -
For family, friends, those loved ones
That you find along the way..

There's a smile and handshake
And even a hug or two -
There's a lot of reasons for living
Finding them is up to you.

Now you can live with heartache
And you can live with pain -
But that's not really living!
To miss life is a shame!

Get out and greet the dawning
Of another God-given day!
Reach out to those you meet,
Walk with them while you may -

Take time to smell the flowers
To breathe the deep perfume
Of another chance at living -
Don't give it up too soon!

Look up at the mountains -
Feel the breathe of air;
Know that God will guide you
For He is always there!

Learn lessons of forgiving
For trusting and belief;
Look out at the ocean
To find the souls release.

Do whatever brings you
A reason to go on -
For life is for living;
Just listen for the song!
