If I threw myself
at your feet and flung out all my tears to bounce on the stoney ground like marbles, would you gather me up and hold me together, whispering padded words into my fragile ears, until I was whole once more? Maybe then- we could share every smile. Maybe then- we could float on our dreams. But, would I ever again be able to stand?
