My baby called me on the phone
she had something to say she was feeling quite alone so she was going away I told her I apologized and wanted to make amends she told me that she realized she only wanted to be friends I knew she's with another jerk I could hear them in the other bed Our relationship, I thought, could really work if there were things we hadn't said My baby had a secret hid But I already knew I never thought she'd do what she did and could be so untrue written for the contest:
