Gentle… rocking of submission,
Foaming swells of emotion,
Of longing long forgot,
Rolling out to sea.

Steady… onslaught of awareness,
Sweating glass of purged pain,
Of fevered trust
Crashing upon the shore.

Confident… survival of sunrise,
Of moon’s phase upon surly sea,
Choruses of howling,
Echoes sounding, ‘I believe.’

Impatient… whisper of desire,
Fingers of trembling need,
Of frenzied fire,
Tolerant not of moderation.

Sure… waves of change,
Impassioned sprays of forever,
Of power to progress
To reach sandy, singing shore

Potent… puff of adventure,
Juxtaposed position
Of love’s arrogant lesson
Sailing into time.
