The cold encompasses me
and the light leaves my eyes My breath escapes me I sit in my corner, so just let me be I can see beyond the darkness to where my soul lies In a world of hate, greed, and desire the people take what they can acquire My emotions take ahold of me holding me tight within its grasp Pulling my strings loose, or pulling them tight a hard battle I'm not eager to fight The anger I have, the fear I feel filling me up, then tearing me apart Somewhere, I must've stumbled off the trail for this battle I fight, I believe I have failed
