Four different images rotate in the space above; you can refresh this page to see them all. Each appears at the top of one of the four quarters of the story as well. I wish I could say they’re my handiwork, but that credit goes to Schezar

Minneapolis resident Orion O’Reilly goes fishing in the remote wilderness of northern Minnesota, but
he is the one who gets reeled in…by aliens who have more than just catch-and-release on their minds.
Orion awakens from his involuntary tranquilization and within minutes finds himself in the hands—
literally—of Zarbaxa, an adolescent Quorilaxian girl. Soaring to a height of 110 feet and resembling an anthropomorphic feline, she is anything but a little green man, which is only the first surprise among many in this story someone likened to “
Gulliver’s Travels in space.” Everyone and everything in Orion’s new life seems to dwarf him into complete irrelevance, but he still manages to realize that importance is not measured with a ruler. It really is a small Universe after all, even if some of the inhabitants are anything but.
