         Lindsay sighed and set down her drink. The man who had bought it for her, was not the one she wanted. Oh yeah he was a attractive, smart and had a great sense of humor, but he wasn't the one the she wanted.

         Carl. He wasn't Carl. She had to either get him out of her head or get him into her bed. Ever since she had moved to Michigan he had been haunting her. All through highschool and now into college. They were neighbors, living a couple houses apart. She also was one of his best friends. Everyone knew where the relationship was going. All their relatives and friends knew that some day they would get married. The only person who didn't know this obvious fact was Carl. It had to change. Now.

         She turned to Michael, the guy who bought her the drink and said, "You know you're adorable...but I think I need to go." She got up gave him a kiss on the cheek and breezed out of the door leaving a stunned Michael behind.
