Nevermore(a portrait of sorrow)
boredom and depression at the same time.

The sky is shone as pale gray,
as it's been every other day.
The trees are weeping, "Nevermore,"
in a horrid, tearful sort of way.

The sun may shine, but in my mind,
there's no such thing as light.
Without you, darkness fills my soul,
no matter how I fight.

I normally wasn't like this,
but I'm never as before.
Now, I'm alone in shadows,
in my head, screaming,"Nevermore."

You were the 1 and only thing,
that kept my soul alive,
what helped me live from day to day,
the thing that helped me survive.

But now, darkness has swallowed me whole,
imprisoning me in total cold.
In my head, I'm screaming,"Nevermore,"
as I live and die alone.
