Conceited
His open arms await her embrace.

This is just something I made up using a little of the old language.

CONCEITED

There’s a dame afar,
I know not her name.
The looks of she
Means nothing to me.

Disappear my dear,
Remove from here.
Set your eyes
Not upon my face.

Show mercy Lord,
Listen to my plea.
Please enable me
To be free of she.

But as she nears
Her eyes I see.
Pools of blue
As big as the sea.

The dame’s a beauty,
This much I know.
Oh, yet another conquest
To me will show.

My open arms
Her embrace I await.
My look of surprise
As she sashays right by.
