She was a child of the sun, Glorious golden hair sprayed out As she twirled in the sunlight, And casting no doubt As to the spirit inside her Warm as the sun's rays - A child of the sun All of her days. Her laughter was magic, Her eyes a clear sky blue; An innocent waif of the forest If you met her you knew That this was a sun child A gift from above - Sprinkling the earth With heavenly love.
