One less thing to smile about
Love lost leads to broken wings

So little makes me smile
Since you walked out that door,
Put some distance between our hearts,
My love now dying exposed on the floor.

I remember sweet summer days
With your eyes bluer than the sea
when sunlight caressed your skin,
All ended when I watched you flee.

Midnight diamonds strung the heavens
The night you whispered goodbye.
The moon wept blurry tears as it knew
My love no more to fly.
