Childhood memories
Shared with my sister. Woke up early On Sunday mornings She'd grab the box- Life cereal. I'd turn on the TV. No lights on, Still dark outside. Bathed in the glow, Our favorite cartoon. Jem was excitement! Glamour! Fashion and Fame! The pink-haired diva and her group, We knew her songs And sang along. Munching cereal, Watching the drama unfold. How I miss Those Sunday mornings, When it was just me And my sister awake.
