Christ In Christmas

Let us put Christ back in the Christmas Holiday.
Celebrate it in the old fashioned Christian way.
Give by sharing our presence with our families.
Like God shares His presence with us in our life.

Back when we were thankful for the oranges,
apples, and hard candy adorning the kitchen table.
In home windows candles burned to honor Jesus.
The time when children were happy to receive a gift.

No matter how much cost, or how big or little it was.
When it was known, why we celebrated Christmas.
When thanks to Jesus was given for Christmas dinner.
Thankful for being alive to celebrate Christ's birthday.

It was the most precious gift we could have received.
Poor families gathered to exchanged their small gifts.
For Judy a little doll, and for Johny a little toy truck.
They were inexpensive gifts, and yet they were happy.

The rich gave from their hearts, not for tax purposes.
when the poor received a meals from their generosity.
As they gave generously through love for Jesus Christ.
In those days man worked hard for what he achieved.


Jesus has already given us the gift of a earthly life.
When will we realize it is our turn to give to Jesus?
let us bring back those old fashion Christmas days,
Put Christ in Christmas, and honor Him everyday.
