Rubiyat Poem
I will never let go

In my mind, I will always foresee, a time in a distant fading,
passage belonging to drifts and flows, without any shading.
The contrast embedded as sharp as a blood drawn endeavor –
a sight beheld in my mind, while the night is still invading.

Left to be taken, and be held by my own device,
a lonely intent, which lives in a modest entice.
Yet, always seeking a face within others forever –
of the one forsaken to a lonely suffice.

Wanting return to witness this tremor of quickening,
to find escape and ignorance, to what I now have to bring.
Meaning no harm or hatred in kind, but feelings are not within me –
for this love displayed is really a love forgotten in past settings.

And how would I be, if this chance were allowed to show?
A glimmer to free, the constant dreams of this lonely soul.
No less you should heed, and make your trials see –
that I will never give up and I will never let go.
