Say hey for flowers and birdsong!
Hey for the moments of starlight and moonlight That dazzle and amaze! Hey for the incomplete completeness Of a snowfall Making old - Making new! Say hey for the sound of the drums beating Over hilly fields covered in spring! Hey for the rhythm of the dancing steady beat And hey for the steps of the dance And the music of the birdsong intertwined! Say hey for the crazy rhythmic Gyrations of the dance of the earth! Hey for spring and summer! Hey for winter snowfall And hey for the tumbling leaves of autumn! Say hey for the field of spring covered - Covered in drumsong and the victims of the dance Lying, too tired to continue whirling, Lying, wet and cold in sweet red juices, Lying, the song of drumbeats and of gunshots forgotten In the passage of spring. Say hey for the destruction of the earth! Say hey for the cessation of the dance! Say hey for the remorse of a snowfall! Say hey for the journey of man!
