Rubiyat Poem
In the distance In the distance, a silent place in mind, I can see her. A vivid and clarity be, which paints this vision’s dulling blur. This measure by chance or fate, be no matter in soul, for sight became gift and blessed the warming inter. Wondering now, cast in fallen sway, far from the endless midst – as all that is bestowed upon me - her loving and gentle kiss. My tenure halved and belittled, now has become a whole, I never knew this calling and what I have always missed. Blinded in life and forsaken to see, a darken journey be – not hearing the screams that enjoyed all my yearning pleas Turning back and gazing at what I dismissed in tense For now I only know what her love will make me see. Lifted from me all demures and the long forgone defeat, and the burden I share with a lonely, enduring deceit - is now fading from my mind, no presence beheld this sense. I will love her and hold her forever, when this day we meet. Kactus Berry
