Unseen Love
A look at a young boy in love,from a friend's POV.

To the girl he hopes to love,
he hiddenly pines and says nothing.
To those who know him best,
the boy is in denial.

Each night, while we nestle in peace,
he stares out his window, she a-lurking.
The next morning,we are so aware.
The boy keeps his head in the sky.

For the girl he hopes to love,
he composes lyric poetry stuck in his mind.
For those who know him best,
we know somehow how those poems go.

Each day, while we work to aid his soul,
he silently sings to her in joy and in pain.
The next night,we contemplate our day so alive.
The boy continues his angst ridden contemplation
         of her.
