A LITTLE CHILLY Snow? I'd say we had a little, 'Bout six inches, more or less - And the wind has gotten stronger; I hear the roads are quite a mess. Weatherman says to cheer us That it may get up to 35 or so - Right now it's reaching 20 So it has a-ways to go. I've renamed the dog Icicle - She takes awhile to defrost; In the house turned up the heater, Can't worry 'bout the cost. Moon is out and it's a beauty Of a night, if you like ice; You say it's up to 55 or 57? Hey, that must be really nice! We're a hardy bunch of people, Toughened by the wind and snow - But if it gets any colder I'll soon be 6 feet below. It's true that I am aging! No longer a sweet young filly; But for now I'll just tell you That it's getting a little chilly. Spring is just around the corner; Months of winter will go by.. I'll hold on to see the sunshine And once more, a clear blue sky! ** #429426 Not An Image **
