Rate & Review...have you wondered?

You've just posted another writing...

As soon as it appears with your little copyright logo at the bottom you go to your statistics and see that someone has started to read it already....

Quickly you open it again to read along with the mystery guest and try to see what he may see while he reads it....

Waiting now...checking the corner where it continues to say "Mailbox: No New"...

Hit refresh and watch the page reload to see if that changes or if stars suddenly appear instead of "This item has no ratings (0)"...

Ok...read something else for a few minutes..rate..review...hit refresh...

Could it be that he is a slow reader? It can't possibly mean that he has finished and moved on without a comment...can it?

Maybe he is reading it again?

Open it and read it real slow this time....

I think we all know how it feels to finish something and wait for the first reaction to it, no matter how much we tell ourselves it looked good we still wait for that first "pat on the back" or kind words to point out something that may have gone missing in our quest to get something new in our portfolios...

Please..if you read it, rate it and/or review it...reviewing does not always mean that we have to point out the grammatical or structural issues..it can also mean that we were involved in the writing from a different point of view...as much as we all strive to express what we have to say in the best way we know how..maybe sometimes it is what we say that might touch a chord no matter how it is said.....human nature being what it is, the reflex action is to click on the friendly suitcase in the review to see if similar thoughts are really only a click away...
