dedicated to Heidi, from Wystful
Like a candle, you give up some of yourself to brighten and warm others Your eternal light is a symbol of your inner and outer beauty While you seem to stand tall and strong you feel like you are tapering, don't you? But don't let the winds extinguish what you show They are only jealous because they have not the substance that you have It is out of your love and kindness that others return to you What fuels the fire that burns and radiates from you, the warmth that comforts and protects from the darkness? it is the soul of a friend, a mother, a healer an embodiment of strength and love may it ever shine bright for all to see and may the wick never burn out
