NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

My resolutions for Year 2003
Will be for a renewed ME!
I guess I'll list as Number One
The courage to have some fun.

I'll put away my tears and woe,
Just think of happy things and so
Now just as far as I can see
I vow to be real good to me.

I'll lose some weight and do my hair;
I may be old, but who's to care?
I'll pick up speed and live my life
By becoming somebody's brand new wife!

Oh, yes, I guess I will at least try
To find a husband before I die!
And if I don't I will not worry;
I was married once and there's no hurry!

I'll find a sitter for the dogs and cat
And travel a bit, now fancy that!
There is so much beauty in the world to see
I love my life and flying free!

I'll donate blood and write a vet;
I'll do my best, and I'm not done yet;
I'll give a smile out every day
(I know I'll get some back that way!)

I will forgive those who did me wrong,
And I will try so hard to get along;
I'll go back to church and pray -
That peace will come to us someday.

I'll take the time to hug my kids
And stop heading for the skids,
I'll make the best of life somehow;
Why wait for New Years? I'll start NOW!
