A Love Denied
She caught a glimpse and fell in-love.....

She caught a glimpse
and fell in-love.
He did the same
and rose above

in hopes to see
his fantasy.

She disappeared.
His passion raged
beyond control,
became uncaged,

consumed with fire
by his desire.

She sought the sky,
horizon, too.
Her face, so sweet,
her heart, so blue.

Where had he gone?
And she searched on.

She was the moon,
the sun, was he,
each in pursuit
so helplessly

of love denied,
still, not untried.
