How much more can I bear Before my mind will crack? How much longer will I go on Before it breaks my back? Oh, the pain seeps from my spirit, Dripping onto the floor! And my ears ache to hear it, The screaming of my soul! What will it take to heal My scars of self-infliction? What will it take to see That pain is fact and not fiction? Oh, the weariness of my deceit Smiling for all to see! Yet I would not repeat A word of my dementia... Can I even stop myself?
