Sweet are the words as you hold me tight.
My resistance is weak on this cold night.
You share your feelings in passionate ways.
Thinking I will stay warm in the coming days.

You're wrong in thinking your wants will last.
I've not forgiven you for your deceiving past.
My body may surrender to your warm hold.
I hope you don't think it is yours to control.

The time has come for you to understand.
All of my future you don't hold in your hand.
If you will give me true love like never before.
Then I may stay and not walk out the door.

Why have you deceived me so many times?
