This new year will be the best one yet!
The New Year: a Poem The Christmas rush is over and done. Slow down, kick back, and share in some fun. There is no need to get trampled down from bills a comin', or a too-tight gown. Don't even think of the fudge you just ate or the scales that tell you your perfect weight. This is no time for brainless reproaches the day before a party approaches. So, think instead, how you'll dance all night. Recall the balloons and the candle's light, and the way his eyes will stare at you as if your love were something new. And in the moment when the bells all ring and you and everyone begins to sing that special song that delivers the year and welcomes friends with a grateful cheer, another year will be disappearing, the same resolutions reappearing. but this year will be amazing, I bet. This year will be the best one yet!
