"Shattered"
(12/23/02 - 19 years old) To watch her cry Is like to die A million deaths. To know she's hurt; Feeling broken - Ripped apart In a puddle of her tears. To see her eyes Fill will great fear Is to take my heart And rip it apart, Knowing I can't fix it all, Can't make it all go away. Watching her hurt So bad for so long - I start to feel it, too. Reaching out, Trying to help - Just to realize That she is me As I look in mirror... And watch it all S h a t t e r
