Butterfly Love

Oceans of the bluest blue,
are mine to swim where ever I choose.
In the sea with all it's wonder,
the best place to live is here down under.
Colours in so many shades can be found
in the plants and sea creatures swimming around.
Everything sparkles in an irredescent glow,
Like having an underwater rainbow.
Diving deep for the ocean floor,
then swimming fast for the surface once more.
Jumping high with all my might,
bursting past the surface into bright sunlight.
Twisting through the air, laughing in glee,
almost flying, but what is that I see?
A butterfly, so beautiful, so fair,
as down I fall, back through the air.
Splashing down into the ocean,
love growing in deep devotion.
She was so beautiful as above she flew,
and if I could, I would tell her my love is true.
But I must swim between surface and ocean floor,
And she must fly, between heaven and shore.
Sadly our love could never be
For air and water can not set us free.
