Snowy Nights
        by Puzzled Poet  (newlight@Writing.Com)

Pure white snowflakes
Drifting around
Make nighttime skies
Upon the ground

Heavenly clasp
Of angels’ lips
In form of snow
In cold, short nips

Creating seas
Of blankets, white
Shimmering
Crystal in moonlight

Twilight shapes
Of ghosts appear
Some float far off
While others near

Winds of ancient
Chime their tunes
Of snowy nights
And afternoons

And in the morning
‘Fore the dawn
Designs of frost
My windows spawn

From frost of night
And chill of morn
The snow remakes
My soul forlorn

Then in the sun
The covered trees
The shining shroud
Above my knees

Renew my heart
And heal my soul
Through winter's tears
And frigid cold
