"What I Wasn't Taught"
(1/11/03 - 19 years old) My mother never taught me To love the me I am. She had never taught me To say to me "I can!" My mother never taught me That I am good enough. She had never taught me That it's okay when life is rough. My mother never taught me The things I said up there. Or, maybe she had taught me ... but I just didn't hear! *** *** * *** *** Written for MOO for President
