Sowing Roses
what went wrong, I still don't know

         Sowing Roses

I once was happy with you, out there
Basking in the sunbeam of your care
Our eyes gazing deeply into souls bare
Snuggles and kissies and all things fair

What went wrong, I still don't know
Without you I'm someplace I didn't go
Tears dripping onto the floor below
Where they land only mushrooms grow
