New Dreams

Last night in my sleep I had new dreams.
You and me in a lovely heavenly scene.
On your head you wore a golden halo.
A smile sweet and red hair that glowed.


Dreaming brought a lot joy to my heart.
In those beautiful days before we parted.
At night I am never alone here at home.
In dreams you're back where you belong.


In the days you're always on my mind.
Thinking of the days you were only mine.
Your world has taken you self far away.
I stay here and pray that you are okay.


Time I hope will bring you back again.
Bring joy back to the heart of this man.
I am here at home waiting for you dear.
Wanting your love and to hold you near.


Let's be lovers and the best of friends.
Rekindle the torch we burned back then.
Can I have your love come back to me?
It does I promise to treasure it eternity.
