To My Dear Rose
Short poem on how beauty is often overlooked.

Persons of beauty always wither
Faster than we’d care to consider
Rarely seen by human eyes
Their beauty goes unrecognized
Quietly drifting out into emptiness
To places we don’t know exist.
One day we’ll meet them
One day we’ll know
Where all the beauty gathers
And why it had to go.
