Lament of the Vampire {Conclusion}

Dimera tried to find a cure for his vampirism but the treatments were working.His vampire friends found him and are causing him grief. He and his girlfriend leave Paris, France and go back to England to stay with his vampire "mother" who raised him. Now, Stephanie has been kidnapped and he and his mother and vampire friends search for her. This is the last and final part of my vampire romance short story. Andrella was heart broken as well that Stephanie was gone. It was obvious to her and Dimera that Stephanie had been kidnapped. "Don't worry. son. We will find her." Andrella was considred Queen of the Vampires. She sent messages to all the vampires and told them about Stephanie. Since vampires could turn into bats, the other vampires would be able to fly all over to look for the kidnapped Stephanie.
Stephanie was fed two times a day. She asked the men who fed her why she was here. The men wouldn't answer her and drugged her because she was asking questions.
Dimera flew all over England as a bat as did Andrella."It's no use, mother. Where else can we look?"
"Son, you and Stephanie love each other. Go inside your mind. Talk to her. Transfer your thoughts to her and I'm sure she can do the same back to you. Trust your powers. You can do it."
Dimera tried in his mind to reach Stephanie. She was drugged but she heard Dimera say "Stephanie, speak to me. It is me, love. Talk to me. I will follow your voice."
Stephanie heard Dimera speak to her. She called out to Dimera. "Dimera, please find me." Dimera had done it. He had made contact.Now, he would go resue her.
Dr. LaSalle was arguing with the two men who had kidnapped Stephanie. "I am paying you two morons to watch her. I have to track down her boyfriend who has a rare blood disease before he inflicts the rest of the world. Don't question me." Dr. LaSalle walked away and went into the room where Stephanie slept on the cot. "You are so beautiful. I could give you the perfect life. You have no future with that vampire.The cure probably wouldn't have worked. Dimera was going to be my lab rat. If he wants you back, I may still have a chance to be the most famous doctor of all."
Dimera and Andrella were in bat form and Dimera could hear Stephanie's voice in his mind. Gowarth, Messano and Javier, who were also vampires, were also in bat form, were flying with Dimera and Andrella. Dimera flew down to an abandoned, rundown dwelling and Andrella and the other vampires bats followed. They looked through a dirty window and saw Dr. LaSalle sitting in a chair, drinking wine. Dimera was furious! In bat form, he charged through the window, along with the other bats. Dr. LaSalle dropped his glass of wine. "What took you so long?" Dimera was back in vampire form and grabbed LaSalle. "Take me to Stephanie now!"
Dr. LaSalle laughed. "All in good time. We have some unfinished business." The other vampires were hissing. Dimera was ready to sink his fangs in Dr. LaSalle's neck. Andrella bared her fangs as well. The other vampires surrounded the doctor baring their fangs and hissing. Dimera spoke. "You are going to be a vampire. Surrender yourself!" LaSalle was scared. He pulled a gun out of his pants pocket and aimed it at his head and fired. Dimera hadn't expected this.LaSalle's lifeless body fell to the floor. Dimera wasn't sorry. Just then two men appeared with guns but when they saw the vampires hissing and baring their fangs, they dropped the guns and started to run but Messano and Javier grabbed a hold of the men and sank their fangs into them.
Dimera went through the rooms of the house and he found a drugged Stephanie on the cot in the dirty room. He grabbed her in his arms and kissed her. Like Sleeping Beauty, she woke up. Stephanie hugged Dimera as Andrella entered the room. She smiled and knew her son would be happy now.Dimera took Stephanie back to the castle. He knew he would always be a vampire but Stephanie just loved Dimera and wanted him no matter what.Dimera could accept that. He had Stephanie. What more could a vampire ask for? He had love. A lavished Wedding was held at the castle and all the vampire friends of Andrella and Dimera were there. Stephanie and Dimera lived happily ever after.
