Breath of Wildflowers

Green canopy of spruce, fir and pine,
Grace and dignity abound with no whine.
Calm today without much sound,
Streaks of sunlight bursting all around.

Wildflowers of reds and yellows sprout,
Discreetly, butterflies dart in and out.
The delightful romping of many young,
All sharing songs yet to be sung.

Abundant life among the mountain peaks
Many in search of quietness will seek.
Veiled and glistening setting sun
Captures our day when the race is run.

Passionate life encounters as you gaze,
Soul searching soon to become a haze.
Soft rippling streams of water flow,
Life unfolds before us providing a glow.
