Clear as Crystal
Nothing more, nothing less.

Confused by my emotions
Reality slowly sets in
Yet I lay here scared
She doesn’t know the truth
The truth being
A simple matter of
Love I’m too fearful to allow

Fearing yet another heartbreak
I keep my intentions hidden
Telling her nothing I
Zealously guard my feelings
Praying that she will be the
Answer to the unasked question
Traipsing around my mind
Reminding me of a love
I’d read about thousands of times
Clear as crystal I
Kneel before her and open up my heart
