Here I lie, on the floor
letters and flowers scattered what we had is no more not like what we had even mattered I look up at the ceiling closing my eyes for I don't want anyone to see what I'm feeling I need to hide behind certain lies Here I lie, forever broken I don't think I could ever mend for my heart, it was stolen and my dreams were all pretend I tried so hard to be the best I loved the way only I could love guess it wasn't good enough to beat the rest I guess it just wasn't enough Here I lie, tears sliding the world hidden behind a clouded sheet my soul, my heart, hiding remaining hidden from everyone I'll ever meet Here I lie, broken my heart has been marred My love, a meaningless token has been forever charred
