Oh, chiropractic pillow, costly friend;
I must convey to you my gratitude. You’ve made the crack and creak of neck bones end And comforted my nightly attitude Your watery insides awash my soul Your soft and giving surface holds me dear Since lovely ling’ring slumber is my goal, I lie with you each day of every year. Before you, I knew not how sleep could be Although I’d tried embracing different kinds But nothing ever fit me to the tee that our soul-mated union seemed to find. And so, sweet lover, wait for me anon And carry me across the night to dawn. - - - Prompt: Write a love poem to your favorite object (Shakespearan Sonnet).
