Carefree ways and simple days
full of love and laughter. Spent with you any way I could the how and when didn't matter. Now and then I think of you and how it used to be, When we were young and free in the Delaware Valley. Basketball and football games, watching you lead the cheers. Eating at the Tastee Freeze, menu hasn't changed in years. Dancing to the rock and roll, praying for a slow song. Just so I could hold you close, and whisper you're the only one. Time has gone and slipped away and you are now a mother. Its really hard to see you in the arms of another. Now and then I think of you and how things used to be. When we were young and free in the Delaware Valley.
