Heavenly Faith

Thank you sweet Jesus for the stars that shined.
I thank you for not leaving me behind.
My salvation has led me to God's home
where all the delicate angels sing and roam.
God had blessed me with a new life to live.
He has given me all He has to give.
Through God's grace I have an eternal life.
He sent His son to earth to ease my strife.


Thank you Jesus for your unselfish love.
Thank you God for sending him from above.
I can now float through Heaven in your hands
protected from this world where evil stands.
No longer will I fear heartache or pain.
I will not be tempted by Satan's stain.
I can bask in the glory of God's light
because I lived in true faith not by sight.





Author's Note: When I wrote this I was thinking of being taken up in the rapture and basking in glory of God's love.
